What's the difference between viewers and creators?
Creators can upload, edit, and own documents and workflows. Viewers can read, comment, and approve documents shared with them — perfect for managers, reviewers, and read-only stakeholders.
What counts as an AI credit?
Each time DocCypher's AI processes a document — generating a summary, extracting attributes, or running OCR — it uses one credit. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle.
Can I switch plans later?
Anytime — upgrades prorate automatically, downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. Yearly plans are non-refundable but you can upgrade mid-cycle without penalty.
How much do I save with yearly billing?
Starter and Professional save 10%. Business saves 15%. Enterprise pricing is custom — most customers choose multi-year terms with additional volume discounts.
Do you offer nonprofit or education pricing?
Yes — 40% off Professional and Business for registered nonprofits and accredited educational institutions. Reach out via the contact page with your documentation.
Is my data safe during a trial?
Your workspace is fully encrypted and isolated from day one. If you don't convert, we retain your data for 30 days so you can re-subscribe or export, then permanently delete.
